Beautiful vacation rental
Unobstructed views of ocean and grassy park from the balcony. Clean and spacious. Resort has nice pools and restaurants. This building is closest to the beach and far from the parking lot. Overall a good place for a relaxing vacation.

The price is right
We were looking for an affordable place in a great location. I loved that this place is situated between the north and the south. It’s not too far to get anywhere on the island. The restaurants on site are very good. The owner was great with communication.

Great spot!
This condo / hotel room at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort has everything you need as well as a serene ocean front location. This is our third year in a row at this room. The resort has recently been improved considerably by the Outrigger brand. The restaurant, beach bar and pools are great. We love to location to explore the island in every direction.

Great Stay!
We had a blast! Location was great to all we did while visiting. Even tough this hotel is older, our room was great. Owner had a larger fridge which worked out great! Loved it here, we’ll be back!

Private and peaceful unit at a Kauai resort
Great stay in Kauai at a private unit at the Outrigger beach resort. This unit is very private with a nice ocean view, and nicely equipped but more like a hotel room than an apartment. The resort has a lot of pools. We did not eat at any of the resort restaurants. The resort is near the airport and the city of Luhue, and also near the town of Kapaa where there are restaurants and stores. You really need a car to see anything on the island, there is nothing nearby to get to on foot. $35 per night parking fee seems a bit steep, especially seeing nearby ‘villas’ with what seemed like free parking.

Convenient Location w/great amentities & views
We loved being centrally located so we could split a few days between visiting the north and southern points of the island. The staff was friendly (Dennis was exceptionally helpful!) We utilized the pools, spa, restaurant, bar and have zero complaints. The view of the ocean with some mountains the opposite direction from the lanai was wonderful. No obstructions.

Sunrise in Kauai
This condo was perfect for my husband and I. Clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed during our stay. Perfect location as well, as it is centrally located on the island. The view of the morning sunrise from the lanai was amazing! Best seat in the house.

It was good. Except the new tenants came in and surprised us. And I was told that the meal voucher didn’t work and the power went out so I couldn’t get the key card. Plus it was for September 3-4 instead of September 4-5!

Great place!
This property is beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. There is no lack of pool space as there are 4 pools. There is also a concession and bar at the pool plus two onsite restaurants. The location is in between a few main hubs and is never more than an hour car ride to any part of the island. We didn’t spend too much time at the room, but it had everything the hotel had and it was much cheaper.

Love it!
We have been to Kauai many times. This was our second trip to this location and we will always be back. It’s very centrally located, the resort has everything you need including a great walking beach. The room is very basic but we were only there to sleep. This unit overlooking a grassy area with unobstructed ocean views was very peaceful. Coffee and cocktails on the patio were perfect. Aloha til next year!

Our stay was awesome! The room was great and it was as described. We loved the room, the view out of our deck was great! Still had a view of the ocean but was faving the reserve so still really quiet. The bed was a little bouncy/soft for our taste but overall would definitely stay again!

This property definitely did not disappoint! The view from the room was amazing and as conveniently located, not only on the resort property but close to the airport and other attractions. Surprisingly there wasn’t any airport noise disturbing our stay considering the locations being so close together. We are definitely planning our next trip back already!

Great resort/room view, terrible bed
We had a great time at the resort! The pools and amenities were great and right next to the ocean. The room itself was mostly great, much like a regular hotel room except for the amazing view of the ocean/open field of the properties (bird lovers will love it). The only problem, which ended up being a fairly big one, was the bed. It is probably the most uncomfortably firm and bouncy bed I've ever slept on. It was to the point where my husband and I would keep each other up all night by just our normal sleeping movements. If the mattress is replaced I would give it 5/5.

A lovely stay
Amazing view of sunrise over the ocean everyday. My wife and I had the best time. We didn't spend as much time at the resort as I would have liked to...we rented a car and did something just about everyday. The time that we did spend at the resort was lovely. The place was clean, the staff were all very nice, the amenities were good. The location is great- not too far from the airport, and pretty centrally located so it makes a drive to the north or south shore very easy. The not great- -parking is kinda far, so there is a bit of a walk to the room. -the pillows were very uncomfortable That's it.. I would for sure stay here again. My one recommendation to the owner would be to put a picture of the resort map on the listing so that people are aware of the distance from the unit to the parking lot, restaurant/bar, main lobby, etc.

We did a lot of exploring of the island and pretty much just slept here but the location was nice- it’s in the middle if you want to go north or south for the day. The sunrises over the beach were beautiful and the restaurant has good food. Check in process took less than 5 minutes and all the staff are very nice and helpful! Would stay again!

Property was exactly what is posted in pictures. Beautiful property. Plenty of room around the pools. Room was spacious and clean. The only downfall is the distance you have to walk with your luggage from the front desk to your room outside. It was raining off and on when we left but we got lucky when we took the luggage.

Great 2 week vacation
The resort was great. Great view from the room, pools, waterfalls, and hot tubs were all used daily and nightly. Beach was small and couldn't swim in that area, but it was a great nightly walk either way. Food on the resort was expensive but very good. We hit the local grocery and took care of most of that. Perfect location for hitting both sides of the island. Had a great time, would defin come back.

Fabulous Stay!
We really enjoyed the excellent view from the balcony. The property was lush and surprisingly not crowded. It's centrally located so it's easy to drive to various sight seeing attractions, snorkeling beaches and grocery stores. The food in the restaurants was amazing and the bar had specials like mai tai Mondays. Nothing better than sipping mai tais by one of the lovely pools. The only issue we had was that the water for the shower was lukewarm off and on instead of hot. It was a hotel issue that was fixed temporarily, then not the last two days. Not a deal breaker considering what a great stay we had. Crystal was responsive to my questions and her excellent customer service was appreciated. I would come back in a heartbeat.
