Disappointing.

Posted Aug 10, 2016
Pros: nothing
Cons: some staff and parking
Location: ok
Not so good experience with some staff about rooms, the cost of parking is not worth it at this hotel and typ of room

Cons: Updating
The hotel staff was great, but the hotel itself needs some major updating. Hotel room had major staining on the lamp shade as well as areas of the carpet which were displeasing. Hotel had a musty smell to it, and AC unit in room did not cool it much. For the rate they charge on this room you would expect a lot more, especially with the DoubleTree name behind it.

Pleasant Experience

Hotel asked if they could down-grade us from king to queen, and offered our choice of comps, which worked for us. We ended up with a restaurant credit and free parking. The room was clean and nice--had all the preferred amenities outside of a luggage rack. The pool is outside and was closed, so if you want a pool make sure the weather is fitting. There is no indoor pool.

Good location downtown and close to our family

Posted Mar 23, 2016 on Orbitz
We did enjoy our stay in the hotel last weekend. We did have to wait to check in because I had requested the concierge floor. We had about a 35 minute wait. We were tired and my husband went to sleep in a chair in the lobby. Our room was nice but we had trouble getting the temperature warm enough. We were not in the room but at night and did not call down for help. The garage stamping checking in and out could be better but understand the problem. We do enjoy being at this hotel when we visit our family in Little Rock.
