Top Loch Awe Hotel Reviews
Iona Lodge, loch views, peaceful location, pet friendly
"The lodge was clean and tidy with a really large garden, very close to the loch and the trail through the forest which was excellent, great views from deck and a very peaceful location, Iain was very friendly and helpful as a host and access to property was smooth with no issues, would definitely use again and recommend aswell."
Elevated Loch View Cabin with WiFi, Electric Hot Tub and Mountain Views
"Lovely cabin in a wonderful tucked away corner of Scotland. The cabin is well-equipped with everything you need. There is even a bar and small village shop nearby. We had lovely weather and enjoyed the spacious outside deck. In poor weather conditions, when staying inside, the cabin may feel a bit cramped, it is a cabin after all. For our party though, it was perfect. Communication with the host was absolutely excellent. Would visit again."
Beautiful Cabin with electric hot tub, wifi, wood burning stove close to loch
"Just as described. A very peaceful location, the cabin had everything we needed."
Charming rural cottage, with stove & large garden overlooking Loch Awe, Argyll.
"We (two grown-ups and a teenager) had a very enjoyable week at Awesome Argyll. The warm hospitality of the hosts made us feel truly welcome. The house was cosy and decorated with great taste, the kitchen was well-equipped. We were very fortunate with the weather during our stay, and could spend all the time in the world relaxing in the garden, taking in the wonderful surroundings. We were sorry we had to leave after our week. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
Cabin 16 'Duart' A Cosy Cabin With Views Over Loch Awe.
"Great little cabin very near the shore, nice and comfortable and basic, don’t expect WiFi but these holidays are about getting away from the noise. Well equipped with everything you need to cater for yourself. The host is lovely, he will certainly make you feel welcome. Lovely place and so peaceful."
Peaceful Farm Cottage in the 'Heart of Argyll' over-looking Loch Awe
"We loved staying at Barr-beite for 8 days, the views are breathtaking at any time of the day and under any type of weather, and for nature lovers it’s the perfect spot to do birdwatching. The house is very comfortable and airy, with 3 large bedrooms and many cosy places to sit and relax, indoors and outdoor. We particularly enjoyed the good size kitchen with nice views on the Galloway cows nearby. The fireplace in the living room is a bonus to make evenings more cosy. The house can easily fit 6 people by its layout, and have 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, both with toilets.Catriona is a perfect hostess very easy to communicate with and who is ready to adapt to her guest requests. She had a list of things to do around prepared for us which was very useful as we didn’t know the area. The only watch out is the single track which leads to the cottage which is about 10 miles long, that one needs to get accustomed to, but the area is so quiet, you hardly meet any other cars on the way. You also need to plan your grocery shopping accordingly.Overall we had a wonderful time and are thinking about coming back next year, as the place has a lot to offer and is very well located to explore the Highlands beauty."
BURNSIDE CABIN - charming Log Cabin In Stunning Location by babbling burn.
"Loved the remote location and small community. Great holiday spot for a relaxing family visit."
Onida Cabin - Log cabin with hot tub in stunning location close to loch shore
"Great space, lovely location. Nice hot tub (although a bit too much chlorine in the hot tub)"
Seil Cabin - charming cabin with stunning loch views and hot tub.
"Property was ideal for a week getaway. Lovely setting. Great walks available. Shop nearby has what you need but best to stock up in advance if you are at all fussy. Listing stated restaurant nearby under the explore the area section but opening times seem to be hit and miss. Not the owners fault but maybe need to not mention it in the details. A great time had by all. "
