Charming home with thoughtful amenities and helpful tips and instructions. My staff and I stayed here for a conference and it was so much better than a hotel.

Excellent house and convenient location

Perfect house. Has good walk in closets for pack and plays out travel mattresses. Family loved the backyard. We walked to different breakfast places all three mornings. Lovely place.

Cute house with a lot of room and great yard

We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. Great location as it's close to the beach and downtown. Beautiful neighborhood with a few cafes and grocery stores nearby. Super clean place with a great backyard and patio.

Vermont House Long Beach

We reserved this house for a family visit to Long Beach. The property was beautifully maintained and check-in and out process seamless. It exceeded all our expectations. The host manger Lisa was very helpful and readily available to help when needed. The hosts Ken and Lynda have thought of every detail to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely return for another visit in the future. You won't be disappointed choosing this beautiful property.

Great place to stay

We stayed at this house for a week with two families (8 people) and it was great. Close to the beach, 20 min to Disneyland, 20 min to shopping. Great local restaurants. Everybody has their own bed too which is an added plus when traveling with 2 families with 4 beds. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your wonderful home!

Great home for 2 families

We had two families come to Long Beach for a music festival, this place made our stay very comfortable. The host and management communicated very well and everything worked great without a hitch. Highly recommend.

Great for convention group

We were a group of scientists attending a meeting at the Long Beach convention center. The house was large, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Plenty of places to get food nearby, easy access to downtown. There were a couple of mice that we saw regularly and didn't bother us, hopefully the hosts can catch them before someone minds them.

Great and very unique house!

We had a very enjoyable stay! The house has so much character and a very homely feel. The backyard was beautiful and great to have meals out there. The hosts were very attentive and around the corner if needed. Everything was as advertised and more. We would definitely stay here again, when we come back t Long Beach.

Magical stay in Belmont for graduation at CSU Long Beach

The Vermont House was a true gem in a lovely part of Long Beach, called Belmont Shores. It's a charming area, and close to the beach, and dozens uf cute shops and restaurants on 2nd Street. My brother's and I stayed at the house for 3 nights to spend time with family, and we hosted a party for my niece's graduation from Long Beach State The house is lovely and surprisingly large, and had artistic touches throughout. The kids loved the vibe, and we had a magical time just hanging out. It is very tough to find a place in Belmont Shores that has accessible parking, and most don't allow more than 6 guests, or a barbeque for that matter. We had about 9 people for the party, and used the living room, dining area, kitchen and outdoors. I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. They had high quality accessories that made enterratining a breeze. It felt like being in my own home. In fact, it was more homey and cozy than any other VRBO I have stayed in. The Vermont House helped to create such wonderful memories. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, if I ever had an opportunity to visit Long Beach.

Great little house with amazing back yard.

Our group of friends was in town for a music festival. This house was great for our stay. Close to the venue, close to the beach. The back yard was the perfect place to hang out. The host was friendly and responsive. Check-in and check-out were easy peasy.

Great home with plenty of space

We had 4 adults and a toddler here for 4 nights. We originally booked it for 3 nights, but the day before we arrived we checked to see if we could add one more night for a spur of the moment plan to Disneyland. The host was able to accommodate our request and at a great price! We were so lucky and very thankful. From this house, it took about 30 minutes to get to Disney,15 minutes to the aquarium, and 10 minutes to Mother's Beach. We hosted 2 of my friends for dinner twice- once to bbq and once to just order pizza. It was great having so much indoor and outdoor space. They were impressed by such a nice craftsman. When one of my friends say the master bath she said it was bigger than her bedroom. Check in was at 3pm. We ended up being in the area at 2:30pm and they were kind enough to let us check in early. Check out is 11 am. We pulled out at 11:01 and the cleaners were there (and did a great job prior to our arrival so I know they use their time well). Overall, we were really pleased at the space we had for us 5. Because it's not an open concept home, which we appreciated, we had separate spaces to have moments to ourselves to read or watch tv.

I wish I lived here!

Such a beautiful garden that greets you, lovely backyard to relax in…and then the house! All the best of the historic Long Beach neighborhoods with modern amenities. Comfortable seating everywhere, all our guests remarked that the beds were comfy. It was me (middle aged mom) and my son (who just graduated HS) and 7 of his friends. The kids had a great time having pizzas, playing Twister (I’m no kidding; they really did!), and watching movies. There was plenty of space to spread out, or find a quiet corner. This would be a great spot for a staycation, for an extended family gathering, or vacation for out of town folks because it’s located near many great sites. One note, it wouldn’t be wheelchair accessible. There are steps to enter the house, doorways to narrow for a wheelchair and narrow staircase to access the second floor. Thanks for this great stay!!

Easy retreat place

We came to Long Beach for my son’s college graduation and the ease of a safe neighborhood and close proximity to the beach. The Vermont house is warm, comfortable and so nice! We had an awesome experience!

2 day visit prior to cruise

This property was in a great location. It was close to restaurants and shopping. The property was clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Wish we had a few more days in the area. I would definitely go back to this home again.

Great location

Home was very clean. Host responded fast and neighborhood was quiet. The most important part was the beds are comfortable. Short drive to the beach or you can rent a scooter in the area. Would stay here again.
