Our check in time was 4pm, we got there at 3:45 and the staff said the room would be about an hour until ready and that they would call us when it was ready. 3 hours later and still no call. Then when I went to the staff to see about that room, the front desk agent seemed annoyed about me asking.
Considering the Queen Mary just went over a 3 year renovation, I was expecting the property to be looking very nice and clean. Instead, there are floor tiles missing, everything seemed dirty and ancient. You can restore old wood panels and make them look nice, that was not the case here. $30 for parking overnight in a lot that doesn’t even have a security guard seems ridiculous too.
Overall, I don’t think I will be revisiting the Queen Mary in the future.
