"I am in my mid 40s and was a bit hesitant about staying at a hostel! As a solo female traveller I feel safe at all times, private in the little sleeping nook, and loved spending time on the rooftop patio :) Casa Pepe had everything I needed as a home base to explore Sayulita and surrounding area. Sidenote, there is quite a bit of party action, although it shuts down at the hostel by 11, the town itself continues long into the night! So bring earplugs :) "

"This hotel is beautiful and we would absolutely stay here again. You cannot beat the views - right on the beach with the sunset every night! Food was amazing - you can get it at the restaurant next to the pool or order poolside and have it brought to you (along with delicious drinks, smoothies, and more). The property plays nice music at the pool, there is a very fun water slide, and the pool is well designed with an adult area, general area, and area for the slide. It is also heated and easy to hang out in all afternoon. The property is beautiful, right on the beach, and rooms are well decorated, comfortable, and fun and bathrooms are a nice size. Deck is great for watching the waves and sunset. Staff is so friendly as well. It is a short/easy walk to town either on the streets or on the beach. Cute restaurants on the walk as well. Or you can get a golf cart (rented from the hotel) to enjoy for the day which is fun too. Overall, a really wonderful stay!"

"Beautiful room and property, right on the beach, but the road to access it is in rough condition. A minor inconvenience, but be aware. Having to run the shower 20 minutes for hot water to appear was my only real complaint. Staff was great, wish we'd been able to stay more than one night. I'd stay there again."

"Exceeded expectations. Service was tremendous and excellent recommendations. Maid service kept the rooms spotless and the grounds/pool is immaculate. Looks exactly like the pictures, no surprises. Right on the beach and incredibly close to the city plaza. Highly recommend the in-house massage therapist. The restaurant ACcross the street is really tempting, but the service is very slow and they don’t use the most health conscious ingredients and oil to prepare the food. We regretted eating there both times and made the walk to the north end of Sayulita where the food is much healthier. "
