I am extremely disappointed in Paradisus! I had been emailing them since I booked my trip earlier this year in March and had minimal correspondence with the hotel. I emailed them about various things and was never emailed back. Closer to my trip date, I reached out to the hotel on various occasions regarding my room and transportation and the rep who finally emailed me back sent me a automated message saying that she would be out of town until June of next year! Now call me silly, but I would anticipate that if you were planning on being absent from a job where you have to communicate with individuals, you would forward messages or tasks to your coworkers in order to facilitate the ease of the travelers while you are gone, but wait it gets better… o also purchased insurance from Expedia (humph don’t get me started on that…we will visit that momentarily). So now the hotel has been extremely negligent and absent in ensuring that my birthday trip goes unhinged despite my futile attempts to contact the resort via email AND phone number (no one knows what they are doing and unfortunately barely any of the staff can communicate effectively or clearly to accomplish common courtesy). So divine intervention occurs and my Southwest flight gets cancelled for my entire family! Cue dramatic music, but have no fear because I purchased “insurance” from Expedia right?!? Wrong! I called the hotel to try to determine if they would move the dates of my trip and they told me NO! No vacay for me!
