Nice hotel next to the beach

Staff was great since the moment I arrived.tried the gym and their equipment wasn't in the best shape..food there is great shows were nice overall I would visit royal Solaris again in the future

Not what we expected

Be aware of the push to buy into the club. They're pretty good at sales!! If you don't, you feel like your second to the gold members. The hotel is clean, but some service is great and some is o.k. depending on who's waiting on you. We had alot of confusion after booking our excursions, and shuttle to the airport, we were never on the list for anything we paid for, all 3 times. Our room safe was not bolted down, anyone could of walked right out of our room with it. We had an electrical outlet hanging out of the wall, light not working, and the knob on the nightstand fell off in 4 pieces when my husband opened it. They did come and fix the problems, but that should of been taken care of before we recieved our room. Food is o.k. mostly the same buffet every day. Restaurants not any better. Will not return, there are alot of other beautiful resorts!

Well appointed hotel with amazing staff

This was our 1st time in all-inclusive although we have stayed semi-inclusive in the past. The hotel was spacious and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, right down to the gardener who was happy to tell me the names of the flowers. The food was very good from the buffets to the restaurants. Personally I would like to have seen more focus on traditional Mexican food and cultural in the meals and the trips. Watch out for the free tour for listening to a sales presentation (to become a member). In hindsight I would rather have paid for the tour but they do have a lot of members so you need to decide a head if you think you might be interested.

Great hotel for the $..

Everything was great! I'm not a big eater but if you are you can get more varieties in food at other hotels that are more expensive but overall food was really good and always awailable! It sits right in the beach and pool is very nice.. Definitely kid friendly.. Crowd was mix in age so not a party place! But you can always party in the city.. Staff was friendly and helpful.. Cost to airport was $40-$50 for four of us each way but you need to pay in Pesos to save money.. You can ride the bus to Cabo San Lucas for clubbing and the Marina($2 per person). Anyway, I would visit again! Have fun! :)

Nice stay for the kids

Just like you would expect from an all inclusive type of resort Very good activities and staff for taking care of kids while grown ups have a bit of fun

Loved the hotel, so close to the beach

Pros: That it was close to the beach, clean and well laid out. With a little 'oasis' for old and young.
Location: We walked into town and enjoyed some of the local restaurants and Tequila bars!
Can't say enough nice things about all the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Pros: Right on the beach, convenient to everything, good service
Cons: We made 2 reservations at the restaurants where you needed them for dinner, both of them had about the worst food ever. Service and atmosphere was go
Location: We stayed on the beach but if you wanted tours for different activities there was a travel agency to guide you for anything you wanted.
Great staff, it was our 49th anniversary and one of the staff gave us a bottle of champagne and desert

Great trip fir the value

Hotel and beach are beautiful and staff was great. Disappointed that this is also a timeshare which meant our all inclusive stay didn't include breakfast in the cafe, just the buffet. The "members only" sales pitch did the opposite, I'll stay somewhere next time doesn't restrict the all inclusive package I paid for. We still had a wonderfully great time!
