1st room terrible, complained and 2nd room amazing

We paid for oceanfront and were first on the bottom floor next to the pizza parlor and kids pool. It would've been awful. We complained, got reassigned rooms to the top floor and it was beautiful and couldn't be happier. The breakfast is great, the Mediterranean restaurant is meh but we were very happy with everything else. We love royal Solaris and will continue to come back as often as our budget allows

Fun for the kiddos

Pros: The kids pools were great and the "Disney" show was also great even though my son wanted to see Mickey.
Cons: The quality of the meat and chicken was very disappointing. Also, the buffet for breakfast and dinner was not that great. More authentic Mexican dishs
Location: Plaza Mijares was nice. There we a few shops to buy stuff. That was it.
I took my family here since I saw that it was very kids friendly. The pool area for the children was excellent with slides and shade. The other pools were nice too yet they were warm...it was 100 degrees, I wanted cool pool water. The food was my least favorite. The breakfast buffet was the same everyday so some variety would have been nice. The dinner buffets were my very least favorite. The restaurant were okay since the meat quality was very poor the chicken looked like plastic. I would have loved to see more Mexican dishes like Posole, menudo and sea food. There was no seafood even though San Jose Del Cabo is located on the coast. I would have loved some fish tacos or ceviche instead of Hamburgers and hotdogs which I see everyday; we wanted to get away from that and experience true Mexico. Other than that, my kids had a blast.

Hotel was beautiful and clean only thing was the food it was not great at all and everything closed after at 8 so if your hungry after that you can't just go get something to eat other then that awesome stay

I'm not happy and will never come back. I'm missing a pair of shoes in side my room that I stayed in and the staffs didn't do anything.

The beds are rock hard. The food was bad. We made a reservation at Marco Polo at 9:30, they were out of Salmon and chicken. There were four of us and none of us finished our food it was so bad! The hotel has a weird smell too.

The hotel is geared toward their culture

The hotel only caters to their culture. The food is not geared to American culture. The hotel seem to forget that they should have some of the basic meals. The food was horrible.

Hotel on the beach

Almost everything about this place was great except the food. Drinks. Views. Pool. Snack shack food was the worst stuff I've ever tasted, though. And everything else food related was average at best.

TERRIBLE FOOD – Good Entertainment

Pros: Entertainment team is possibly the only thing they got going for them.
Cons: The reservation process. It’s really hard to make plans during your stay if you do not know where and what time you get to eat dinner!
Location: Nothing really, everything is about a 30 minute ($40 to $50) taxi drive away.
The staff is very short and not accommodating to your needs. The A/C in my room was broken 4 out of 6 days I was there. I finally had to demand to speak to a supervisor and physically walk them to my room to get the A/C fixed. Apparently, my issue was never communicated to the maintenance crew although, I communicated my issue to the front desk multiple times a day. Stay clear from Iker at the front desk, wait for the next representative attend to your needs. Victoria who is a part of the night front desk crew was wonderful and very helpful. Wi-Fi was always down, be sure to take a copy of your hotel confirmation, they try to scam you into paying for Wi-Fi although it is listed under “Hotel Amenities – Free Wifi”. I also found it to be very ridiculous that I had to pay $1 a day to use the safe in my OWN ROOM! Oh &&& my room was not ready when I arrived. I arrived around 2:45pm and I didn’t get into my room until 5:25pm. Food was bad! Especially in the breakfast department. I was very grossed out with sharing my buffet with birds! Everything is watered down, very bland and looks old. The soda (Pepsi Products) was always flat. Beer options are Indio Beer, which is not at all the bars or they are out of, and Tecate Light. The only liquor bottles I recognized was Jose Cuervo and Smirnoff, BE SURE to ask for them or else they use some even lower self-liquor that is beyond disgusting and not drinkable.
