The 3rd floor hallway had a horrible stink. When I mentioned it to the desk he was apologetic and offered to move me to another floor later that day. He even was up spraying that end of the hall. After opening a hall window I decided I didn't need to move. Very nice staff.

Pros - Convenient to KEC. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Room has microwave and larger than normal fridge. I liked that sink area and vanity was separate from shower and toilet. Cons - Our room had a slight odor, especially when we 1st arrived. Breakfast is poor, unless you like cereal, toast or packaged muffins. There is nowhere in the lobby to meet with group of people or work. They close off the breakfast area when done serving. Even though i paid for several rooms for a work event, I wasnt able to pay individual deposits or get receipts for the rooms I didn't occupy.

I had to give a card number upon checking in. Ten minutes later it had been used for eight other sites and thankfully I had fraud protection. I asked how this could happen and the desk staff could not speak English very well and claimed he did not know what I was talking about. I was out of town traveling and had to cancel all my cards and get new ones issued. They have not responded to me to explain how this has happened. Also, charged me $60 for a deposit and kept it. I was in the room less than 8 hours due to what was a horrible smell and very loud noises inside and outside the hotel. It is also very aged and had stains all over the walls.

I like the fact that it was close to the neighborhood that I'm from but what I didn't like was the fact that the receptionist or the clerk made it his business to call my boyfriend and tell him who was in my room or what was going on which was none of they business and the fact that they had these undisclosed rules that they don't have on a website or yours

I had to cut my stay to only one day instead of two. The staff couldn't edit my stay and give me a refund. I had to wait till the next day. I only got the refund because expedia called and got the refund.
