“After an issue checking in where our booking was lost Jose placed us in a fab Junior Suite with kitchenette, sofa and bed. All hyper clean with great view of the beach and harbour entrance. Breakfast was the best with great choice from cooked to fruit & yoghurt to pastries. Always love coming to stay and never let's us down. Always recommend Vilamoura and especially the Ampalius.”

“The apartment was clean overall and spacious, and the balconies were great with views of the golf course. Although I did not use it, the pool looked a good size and was popular with other guests. Plenty of free parking. Helpful staff the only slight negative is that there were ants in the apartment - which the hotel provided a ant spray. ”

“The apartment was very spacious and clean. The pool area was quiet with enough loungers. The small pool side bar restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner all very nice.”

“The rooms had their own car park but required a deposit in cash to obtain the remote for the gate. I don’t carry cash so was forced to haul my suitcase up and down multiple stairways and along a dark and uneven path around the back of the building to get to my room late at night. The room itself was fine. Clean and spacious although the bathroom smelled mouldy. Lighting was poor - particularly in the bathroom. Overall it was fine but nothing special.”
