"This is an older hotel that's been (somewhat) updated but still reminded me of The Overlook Hotel from "The Shining." The staff is very nice and it was very clean, but my room – a "petite queen" – was quite small. I had to go outside to change my mind. Seriously, though, it was very tight, and I was traveling alone. Two people staying in that room for more than a day or two would probably kill each other. The fixtures are all vintage (or look that way), but everything worked well. (I especially liked the shower.) My one complaint was with the wi-fi. It was reliable enough, but I seemed to have to log in every few hours, which was a pain. Oh, and there was an ice bucket in my room, but I never saw any signs indicating where I could actually get some ice. The hotel is conveniently located to a lot of restaurants and stores, so that was nice. And it was affordable. All in all, not a bad choice, but try to get something larger than a petite queen room."

"First impression is spectacular with the restaurant, pool and exercise room. The room was nice. The hotel didn’t have any information in room about what restaurants delivered to the hotel or what was available around the hotel. Also we called the front desk to let them know the coffee pot didn’t work. They said maintenance wouldn’t be available for about an hour but we could come down to breakfast area for coffee. We moved coffee pot to another plug and it worked. Communication seemed to be a problem. We asked if we could order room service. We were told that wasn’t available. So I went down to restaurant and they were still serving so ordered our food to go which was no problem. These small complaints are the only reason we didn’t give the hotel a 5 out of five!"
