“Very good weekend away was somewhat spoiled by noisy neighbour above our bedroom banging around for an hour at midnight and again at 4.30am. Otherwise very good indeed.”

“We had a lovely stay here, was perfect with the playground on the doorstep and the summer house. My daughter loved it! The pool was perfect too and was a good way to spend the afternoon. Next to our lodge is a field perfect for catching the last hour on golden sunrays. Our host was very friendly and helpful, we certainly hope to come again in the future!”

“This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...

“House looked great from the front, less so by the side door. It took a while for us all to find our way around on the ground floor, a lot of doors off a long corridor!The lounge furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We all enjoyed our stay and very much hope to stay here again, after all it is in the heart of our favourite part of England! ”

“Beautiful place to stay!Beds and bed lining perfect & so comfortable..The let down was whoever is cleaning the property is not doing a very good job, down the side of the aga cooker is disgusting and the windows need a good clean inside and out all the covers in the game’s room are very badly stained and need to be cleaned.
