“The apartment I was put in was not the one in the photos. Apparently what I booked needed repairs, I didn't know of the change until I was there.
And while the alternate unit was clean, I was not comfortable. Parking was a crap-shoot. There is a hotel next door that gets very busy. The hotel next door was the saving grace of the stay. Good restaurant an bar at the Mafolie Hotel.
I can't say that the original place would have been better, I never saw it! Double/triple check with the host that……

“While the area itself was nice and quiet, the overall condition of the two-bedroom unit made this stay far less pleasant than expected. There was a strong mold-like odor present throughout much of the day, which aggravated my allergies and often forced me to stay out of the unit. I also noticed visible mold on some exterior areas.

“The description was accurate as far as the view but the information stated there was sleeping accommodations for six which leads you to believe there was one bedroom with one bed and a second with two beds but there was only one bed in each bedroom. So having only two beds limited it to sleeping four people and no portable bed or pullout bed available on the property.”

“The apartment had the best view! You will want a car here as it is a steep hill to get up but hey good exercise?
I stayed at 3 rentals during my USVI trip and this one did not have any extra items such as beach chairs, coolers or towels. I think we had two bath towels and they had an old wet towel smell to it. The screens to the windows were loose so bugs could get in and the screen door was off so it was a gamble to leave the glass door open. It was definitely a minimalist place. The owner……

“Room was difficult to find from the reception area, I wish they had better signs. When we did find the room it was large with a kitchen and very clean. Loved that parking was free and abundant. We liked that the room was not old and broken down, everything seemed fairly new. Front desk staff could have been friendlier, it doesn't hurt to smile you know. When people go on vacation they want to be treated with smiles and friendliness not uptight stone faces.”
