“The Bear Necessities Cabin had everything I wanted. Centrally located to mountain biking and hiking. Only 5 miles from Cortez for picking up food, etc. Relatively quiet, peaceful, and scenic. Amenities like a decently equipped kitchen, and a clothes washer and dryer for my extended stay made for a comfortable stay. I'm posting some snapshots from video I captured from flying my drone over the property. This should give you a good idea of the beauty of the area from the property at different……

“Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. My daughter’s wedding went off without a hitch and no rain for the wedding. Your home was so conveniently located for us. We had a wonderful stay.”

“This home was wonderful for our family. We stayed three nights. Its location to Mesa Verde Nat. Park can’t be beat! The home was decorated so cute and was very clean. It had a beautiful view of Totten Lake and the area. The pool table was so much fun for our kids. The little details the host provided made our stay extra comfortable with a laundry room, full kitchen, shampoo and conditioner in bathrooms, lots of towels. Would definitely stay again!”

“The small cabin is perfect for one person. A couple could fit as well. The site facilities manager was on hand to guide me to my cabin. Everything was in perfect order.”

“This booking was better than advertised. Location is wonderful. My wife and I had an amazing stay. This property is extremely clean and nicely appointed. Fresh cut wildflowers and fragrant herbs were welcomed personal touch. The nights are amazingly quiet and peaceful. Cannot more highly rate this property. I will definitely try to book this property for our next trip to Durango. Thank you Yun-Shui. :)”

“The Whimsy was a perfect stay for our family. The home itself is beautiful, the scenery is amazing, and the view of the stars at night can’t be beat. The home itself was designed with intentionality and care. The decor and design choices were the cherry on top of the whimsy vibe.We enjoyed seeing multiple deer, turkeys, chipmunks, and birds while exploring the outside area. The location is perfectly situated as a home base to explore the area from Mesa Verde to Silverton, which we did over the……

“Beautiful property, had issues with getting fans. Asked for them and she said that they were in the house. Only 2 fans and there are 3 rooms, so never got 3rd fan. Also bathroom on main floor shower was very hard to pull up and use we needing up using bathroom downstairs as it was easier. Also water filter on water systems needed to be replaced as it kept beeping.”
