This is a hotel room, but we hadn't appreciated that there would be no maid service as it is booked privately. If we went again, we would fork out the extra to book a larger room directly with the hotel. ”

“Kendra was a fantastic host with great communication. We stayed last week of June and the weather was perfect. The gondola was a quick drive with free parking and we spent most of our time in Telluride or hiking. The condo was clean and comfortable for the four of us (2 adults and 2 large teenagers). The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to rest/relax to begin more adventures the next day.”

In addition, the bed is not a king, which is only listed in the details. What we did not know is that the whole place is under construction and the whole town was basically empty. The restaurant and lodge were closed, the gondola was closed too. The pool and fitness center were open, however……

“Bear Creek Lodge is a great value (believe it or not) in the Mountain Village. The condo we were in was newly remodeled and very nice. We had stayed in a different until over a decade ago and we could see the improvements that have been made to the property. The pool area was much nicer than it was years ago and we appreciated the convenient shuttle down into the village. The resort was quiet and the staff was super friendly and helpful.”
