“need larger tv that can easily be seen. need light over sinks in bathroom. needs clear instructions for heater. needs more comfortable seating. needs back items such as toilet paper and paper towels and least a broom and dust pan. also needs walkover mat just inside front door.”

“Older country range style house. Spacious lot with beautiful view. 3 car carport. Large 3 bedrooms, great beds, 2 large bathrooms. Open concept living area - lots of seating, large kitchen with a huge island. Kitchen and bathrooms well equipped. Host responded quickly. It is 12 miles west of Cortez on a winding paved county road. An easy drive out. But 30 minutes before sunset, the sun can be blinding. First time the turnoff was a bit hard to find, but easy after that. The main entry……

“We loved our stay in this charming Conestoga wagon! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom (in the bath house) was clean and in excellent condition. Although the weather was chilly at night, there is a heating unit in the wagon, and the host provided electric blankets as well, so we were perfectly warm. Because the walls are canvas, we could hear outside noises--including a deer snuffling near the wagon in the early morning. But we knew to expect that ahead of time, and it was such a fun and……

“A wonderful peaceful place just a bit outside of town. Beautiful night skies in the country. We loved sitting on the patio in the mornings to listen to and identify many many birds! Our host Kelly was extremely helpful with whatever our needs were. She is very kind and thoughtful! When she learned we would be late she offered to go turn on some lights and the cooler so it wouldn’t be so hot. We would certainly stay here again and reccomend it to anyone!”

“Affordable, very clean, very private, and super friendly hosts! All amenities were provided.. anything you use in your daily life… it’s there! The property is beautiful and our family had a blast! Having a child under (2) they had a baby gate available which we needed for the stairs, and a pack and play (which we didn’t need) but great they had it available. We even got to feed to horses with the family! Highly recommended! And about 15 minutes from town. We can’t wait to go back!”
