1. The area is far away from the main city, but to bluff the renters, they marked the Venus Aprtment in the middle of the Kigali city, inside a circle of the main road.

"Fraudulent. These lovely pictures of an apartment were displayed on the Expedia site and I went ahead and paid for it. When I contacted the host about my reservation, he rudely informed me that the place was not available even though I had paid for it on the site because it was available for my dates. The host was rude, unresponsive and unwilling to help. He offered an alternative property which was dingy, uncomfortable and ugly with stained and torn bedsheets. A far cry from what was advertised...

4. Unable to gain access on day of arrival as nobody on duty despite being notified of late arrival.
5. TV was only connected on last day.
