Beautiful Creekside Home in Mariposa Pines Close to Yosemite. No cleaning fee.

All inclusive. No cleaning fee. Built in 1998 this modern 1600 sq. ft. ranch style home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Our home has a beautiful large kitchen completely stocked for cooking needs. The living room and dining area are large and open with lovely and comfortable furnishings. There is a large laundry room available for our guests. You step out the front door and are surrounded by trees over one hundred years old, huge granite rocks and a seasonal creek right in front of the house. Early risers can enjoy that first cup of morning coffee with a leisurely walk or sitting under the trees enjoying the quiet and fresh air. Yosemite is approx. a one hour drive (38 miles) along the Merced River which meanders through canyons into the park. For advanced hikers our home is two miles from one of the most beautiful hikes in Mariposa. Search: Hite Cove trail for details. Mountain biking is also right out our door! We are located on the trail head of the forest service fire roads that span over 40 miles of amazing riding with views of the back country of Yosemite including a view of El Capitan seven miles from our house. Historical downtown Mariposa is 20 minutes away with gold mining and rock museums, shopping, restaurants and antique stores. You can pick up the YARTS bus into the park in several locations in town. Bus fare includes admission into the park. Chuckchansi Casino is 45 minutes away with live shows and several restaurants. Bass Lake is 45 minutes away with boating, jet skiing, fishing and swimming. Zephyr white water river rafting is 20 minutes away.

A comment we constantly get from guests is how cool, lush and heavily wooded our area is compared to the lower elevations in Mariposa. One of our guests little girl described our property as being like 'Narnia'. Surrounded by oaks, pines and a seasonal creek. There are frequently deer and wild turkeys strolling around the property. Great respite in the woods
My friends and I traveled here, as likely most do, to visit and experience Yosemite. While this particular property isn’t quite as ideally located as we’d hoped, it turned out to be a welcome retreat. The place was clean, and had all the necessary amenities to rest between explorations. The host was very kind to afford us early check in and had great communication and information regarding the park. Hope to visit again!

It's really the worst. They said they had a barbecue grill, but it wasn't. She didn't come at check-in and check-out. After we checked out, she asked for $250, saying we damaged the oven. We didn't use the oven. We had four stayers and she lied that we had six stayers. We didn't use a fire extinguisher and she insisted we did. She framed us and charged us. We are a family of four, and we are traveling to the U.S. There are over ten accommodations we have stayed in, and the host is the worst of them all. I'm the first host to cheat foreign travelers and extort money this way. Strongly protesting Expedia as well.

Great Family Vacation Spot
This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The home was immaculate and well outfitted. Our grandchildren enjoyed exploring the area and the proximity to Yosemite (about an hour from the valley) was a bonus. We will definately be returning.

Cozy mountain home
Myself, my husband and our two college age sons stayed for two nights (we would have like to stayed for more but that's all we could fit it). We have stayed in many vacation rentals. This house was great because it was clean, it was well stocked, it was comfortable. We did not cook but we often do and the kitchen had lots pots pans, knives, cutting boards and more so that preparing meals would not have been a problem. We did go to Yosemite one day. It was about a 90 minute drive.

Communication with the owner was easy, the home was very clean and comfortable. The setting was beautiful! It was absolutely freezing outside in mid-November, but we were toasty inside with the fireplace in the living room. We would stay here again!

Great place for groups
Great property for a group, cozy with a gas fireplace and fully equipped with everything you need for your home away from home, including Tupperware. Only downside is its distance from the Yosemite National Park entrance but that's just me. But it was lovely to come back to a cozy home after a full day of exploring Yosemite.

Description of the property was as stated in the listing. Home is well appointed and outfitted with all of the amenities. Kitchen had everything needed to make breakfast and dinners. Instructions and notes on how to use equipment and nearby attractions was very helpful. When we come back to Yosemite we would like to stay hear again.

What a wonderful home!
My brother and his family came to California to see me for the first time in the 21 years I’ve lived here, so I’m playing tour guide for a couple weeks to show all the best this state has to offer! Our stay at Creekside was perfect! It’s a beautiful home, in a nice little mountain community, and not too far from the entrance to Yosemite on HWY 140. My brother exclaimed “I just LOVE this house” more than once during our stay! Thank you so much for your part in providing an unforgettable experience for my family!

Great house for our family.
We really enjoyed this place, wish we could have stayed longer. It’s in a remote area, which we loved, and it was very well stocked with anything you could need, which we used for stay-in meals. Very comfortable furniture and bedding, and a good variety of games/books.

Great place to stay not too far outside of Yosemite. Very clean and an excellent experience. Eileen was great to work with and gave us some great tips on the Yosemite experience and local grocery stores. Highly recommend if you want a clean, quiet place to stay!

Great Yosemite trip!
Eileen’s home is absolutely wonderful. When you walk in, it is immediately evident that the owners and caretakers truly put much thought into making this the best possible vacation home. It is comfy and cozy, with very interesting decor to match the surrounding rustic neighborhood. It is peaceful and quiet and very relaxing. The home was absolutely SPOTLESS and very well stocked. There are plentiful linens and towels, all the toiletries one may need, and a fully stocked kitchen which we unfortunately didn’t use much as we were out and about the whole time. There was really nothing missing at all. We even found a Styrofoam cooler which was amazing because we forgot to bring insulated lunch bags with us and such things come in handy when you’re touring Yosemite all day long. We took three day trip to Yosemite National Park. Twice we went in through the Arch Rock entrance to tour the Yosemite Valley area. On our third trip to the park, we went in through the southern entrance to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Both routes took just over one hour from the home but they both involved driving along peaceful, beautiful country and mountain roads. The distance was not at all a problem. You should definitely bring snacks along because food service was not reliable within the park, but that obviously has nothing to do with the home. I would highly, highly recommend this home to anybody visiting the area. It is one of my favorite VRBO rentals ever. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us and we will be back soon.

Wonderful property!!
We had a fantastic stay here! The house is very clean and comfortable, very thoughtfully stocked, there was everything we could possibly need. The fireplace was cozy on a cold evening, had fun playing some of the games there. A great jumping off spot for Yosemite!

Idyllic Stay
A wonderful setting to visit Yosemite Park in a leisurely manner. It takes a little over one hour to reach the Park each way. However, we do not mind the extra time and distance needed to get inside of the Park. We feel we get the extra enjoyment of nature as the locals do in this well appointed house.
