"House was nice and clean, and had everything we needed in it. The owners were very helpful and friendly . We had a dog with us , location was perfect for lovely walks with a dog. Overall it is a beautiful place to stay , I would definitely recommend it😊"

"West Lodge is delightful - comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. It's set in beautiful grounds which we were free to enjoy. It was all well-equipped and had everything we needed including a very lovely welcome pack. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would love to go back. I wish I was there now!"

"Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful."

"Our family group of eight adults, two children and two dogs enjoyed a weekend but the house is so well equipped we could easily have stayed longer. Plenty of space for everyone and very comfortable. The house manager Theresa could not have been more helpful. We’d like to return."
