“Only one very young employee that greeted us at the front desk when we arrived late in the evening was disappointing. After that, it was like the old days. Lots of pride and professionalism that I just don’t see very often nowadays, no matter how much I pay. I believe the general manager spoke to me one morning and inquired not only about my breakfast, but about my overall experience. I know that this is the Midwest and these people are famous for their manners, but I’ve stayed down the road……

They also offer a free breakfast entree at a neighboring restaurant (which was very good!) and a free drink for each guest at a neighboring bar. Free convenient parking in a lot right behind the building. We will be back! ”

“Everything was 10/10…very responsive when asking questions. The room was excellent- very comfortable. The only thing I would change is maybe having a ice machine or a way to buy ice - the refrigerator ice maker didn’t seem to make ice :) ”
