Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"Lovely Hotel.Reception staff were very helpful. I had a superior double room well worth the extra cost. Had a lovely ploughmans and sticky toffee pudding for lunch in bar area,really enjoyable.Nice patio outside for evening drinks!!!Breakfast was excellent set in a beautiful dining room,service was excellent especially from sue who went out her way to make it enjoyable!This was my first visit to the Castle Hotel of Brecon and it won't be my last!!"

Supplied with dog bed for our terrier. Lovely town with lots of classy shops. Good dog walks. A must!!! Will hopefully visit again. PS. The hotel interior inc all decorations is outstanding. Not to be missed!!"

We could not find the promised shared kitchen and the walls were very thin. Everyone was friendly but we only saw one last when we arrived and one when we left. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent position. Parking is an issue but there are council carparks nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay again."
