“Having stayed in Wanlockhead for a week at the end of June 2021, this property seemed like an ideal overnight stay during a house move from the the South Coast to Aberdeen. Within easy distance of the M74 and very peaceful. Loved the bold décor. Excellent nights rest , the downstairs bed was very comfortable and the property spotlessly clean.”

“This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!”

“Das Haus bietet viel Platz von der großen Küche bis zum im 1.Stock gelegenen Wohnbereich. Essen kann man bei schönem Wetter vor dem Haus, ansonsten in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche. Schlafzimmer und vor allem das Bad mit einer hervorragenden Dusche ließen keine Wünsche offen.”

“Superb spacious house, nice garden and decking. A beautiful red kite decided to give us a soaring display one evening :) The cottage is very close to the main A75 so it can be noisy while you're out in the garden. On the plus side, the location gives good travel access to all areas of D&G by bus and by car. Don't miss Threave Gardens - free motorised scooter available for people with mobility problems that would restrict their access to the gardens. ”
