Saw these Jellyfish at the lovely Monterey Bay Aquarium. Recommend stoping by if you are ever in the neighborhood. There is a fabulous jelly fish exhibit at the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. Although I tend to not like keeping animals in enclosures, large aquariums can be invaluable resource to educating the general public about the importance of protecting our oceans and the many types of marine life. (April 2017) On a trip that we took down the coast of California, we stopped in Monterey and walked along the coastline. Came across these two beautiful starfish on a rock. Fisherman's Wharf is a historic wharf in Monterey, California, United States. Used as an active wholesale fish market into the 1960s, the wharf eventually became a tourist attraction as commercial fishing tapered off in the area.
