“This property was absolutely beautiful! The staff couldn’t do enough for us! This property is so unique and quiet!! All you can hear in the morning is the birds singing and the sounds of the trickling water. Absolutely amazing stay!!!”

“Personnl courtois. La femme de menage vous appelle pendant la sieste pour vous demander si elle peut passer. C'est quoi l'intérêt de mettre une affiche "pas déranger " sur la porte? La chambre donne " sur le golfe " certes mais aussi sur la route et par moment c'est bruyant. Lampe de chevet arrachée du mur. Piscine géniale mais une curiosité à savoir des rallonges électriques étalées sur plusieurs mètres. En France c'est totalement interdit. ”

“Lovely, quirky property. Great food and service. Spa was wonderful. Rooms a bit small but very comfortable. Pictures of bathtubs are limited to some Rooms so disappoint to have a view or tub. Outdoor cocktail area was charming as was the decoration. Great place overall. ”

“Staff were helpful in arranging a taxi to take us to a hike. Bikes were available for rent and we biked along the Lima River. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good and bacon and eggs were cooked as we wanted. Grocery store and several nice restaurants close by.”

“The hotel is very nice in a great walking location with great daily breakfast, dinner was delicious as well. The room was spotless and the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. Can’t wait until my return, this is my second trip staying here.”

“What an absolute treat! This property is located at a wine vineyard with tons of history of the Calheiros family! We enjoyed walking the vineyard and a tour of the original family home of the Count of Calheiros! Truly a spectacular experience!”
