This hotel was a huge disappointment. First, they demanded a charge for “incidentals” be paid prior to checking in. In the dozens of times I’ve used Expedia, that’s never been an issue. And the person checking me in insisted it was “all the other hotels” that were wrong.
Then, when I was finally able to actually check in, their system crashed, and we had to wait another twenty minutes. When I got to the room, it was not an “accessible” room, which I had specifically reserved.
The bathroom was dirty. The shower head wasn’t firmly attached to the wall, exposing a giant hole. The shower curtain was moldy. The shower curtain rings were broken. For some reason, there was no blanket - only two sheets. When we left the room on Saturday around 1130 am, the maid service was right next door; yet, when we returned the room was not made up and the bathroom was not cleaned. I asked the front desk to send up fresh towels - they never came. And when I tried to call the front desk from the room, the phone was not working!!!
All in all, this was a terrible experience. I travel often, and frequently use Expedia, and this was the worst stay I’ve experienced.
