Clean Hotel

This wasn't a five star hotel and we knew this going in but it was nice enough for a over night stay. It was clean. It could use a remodel but was good enough. Friendly staff. Make sure you put out the 'do not disturb' sign or room service will wake you up at 7am!!

Pros: Air conditioning worked great
Cons: Update carpets in rooms
Location: Nothing really in this area. Branson was about 2 hours away, we went there for a day
Hotel is very dated, there was a slight smell to the room. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Hotels were very limited in this area so we really did not have any other choice. Pool was nice since it was very hot at this time of the year. Pool was cloudy, could have been clearer, but used any way. Hotel really needs updated as just had a very old look and feel to it. Carpets could be updated. TV screen was shaded on one side which made distorted to watch.

Pros: Staff were friendly.
Cons: Get new beds!
Hotel staff were nice and accommodating, but room was inferior. Bed rolled to edge on one side and slumped in the middle on the other. Very uncomfortable! Only had one straight back chair in room.

Lots of issues

I had a 2nd floor room and the stairs and surrounding landings were riddled with rusty nails. In the room we were given 1 towel/ hand towel/ washcloth, not even a bath mat. This was supposed to cover the 4 of us staying in the room. Luckily the lady at the desk was wonderful and took care of the towels. I soon noticed that the carpet that surrounded the ac was soaked. When I brought this up I was told it was just fixed and given a bunch of towels for the floor. I guess fixed means an ice bucket holding up the unit while it leaks. The bathroom looked as if had recently been sloppily painted with the bottom trim missing leaving a nail hanging out about a half an inch. Maid service hits soooo early. About 8:00. Not good if you like to sleep in or have kids. Breakfast ends at 9:00 am which is easily missed. All of these factors do not play well to a family with a toddler!
