Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay at this property. We've actually stayed here before. We brought our dog and it was nice to take walks in the scenic area. The property owner was prompt in responding to our request to have the fireplace looked at. Someone came over right away to show us how to use it. It was chilly and we wanted the warmth and romantic setting. Well insulated cabin that has everything you can possibly need. It also has a children's room with plenty of games, if you have kids. The only upgrade I can think of is they need a new set of pots and pans. We like cooking meals to save on money, and there is a well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates and glasses, even wine and cocktail glasses, plus baking accessories, but pots and pans were few, and they looked a bit worn, and needing replacement. We used the large steel oversized pot even though it was just the two of us. The other pots looked like they had seen better days. Otherwise, this place is great. The owners thought of everything. There was even pancake mix in the cabinet! And syrup! Would definitely recommend. Dog and kid friendly. Scenic. Patio to sit with your coffee in the morning when it isn't took chilly. People here are also very nice and friendly.

Peaceful
Great little cabin. Great yard for the dogs. We drank coffee on the screen porch every morning listening to the river and watching the geese.

Relaxing along the river
Well appointed property across from the river in a quiet neighborhood. The rocky back yard was difficult on our dog's legs, so plan to go for walks out the front door. Good value and close to John C. Campbell.

Horrible house
Y’all make sure you read carefully. The owner (George) of the cabin is very rude. We arrived on time and once we got there was a bad smell in the cabin. Also it looks like there has not been anyone renting that property. The curtains are stained Don’t let the pictures fool you. We did not stay at this cabin. We ended up leaving that same day so to the bad smell and mold.HORRIBLE experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CABIN TO ANYONE.

Very quiet and comfortable
Convenient location, about a mile to JC Campbell Folkschool. The cabin was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The only negative is that the bathroom sink upstairs drains very very slowly.....probably needs some drano or other method to improve a clogged sink.
