“The breakfast was great!”

“The check in went as expected and the clerk was nice and personable. However when I got to the room I noticed long black hair all over the tub. Ick. It said breakfast but bread and waffles does not a breakfast make. Otherwise the place was exactly what I needed after a 10 hour drive from South Dakota”

“Since it’s the only hotel in Glenwood Iowa, it’s pretty nice. They take very good care of it. It’s very clean. The rooms are pretty spacious and it was near a lot of restaurants. I would stay here again if I’m in town for a wedding.”

“I wish I had the name of the lady running the check-in/front desk when we checked in (06/19/2026 at approx 9pm). She was the nicest, most helpful person I have dealt with in a very long time. We got in later than we wanted and she went out of her way to make sure we were able to order from their lounge, made calls for us, just was so polite and helpful. The staff at the lounge/bar were also great. The rooms were clean, and the property seems well maintained. I'd absolutely stay here again and……

“There was only a kiosk for check-in. We were told to sit down until they were ready. We had pre-paid, all we needed was a key card. It took 15+ minutes & it was difficult to understand. ”

“The entire place is under construction and shouldn't even be open and operating! We got in at 3a and were woken to the sounds of hammers at 7a tearing out concert that we then had to walk through. Their website says that they offer breakfast, but due to the construction there was no breakfast, no gym, and no washer/dryers. There was construction materials everywhere which seemed very unsafe for my young children. We also found beer in the freezer that had been left there for who knows how long……

“We stayed in a newly renovated room and the front desk attendant explained that the contractor was going back through some of the rooms to catch anything unfinished. The restaurant in the hotel was convenient and has reasonable prices. This hotel is conveniently located to the Offut Air Force Base and has direct access to a nice bike path that we used during our three night stay. This hotel provided the best stay for the money on our eight nights of travel.”

“Check in was easy. Our room looked nice at first. The alarm clock had outlets on it but it wasn't working. I needed an outlet for my cpap. I moved the night stand and put the plug in the other outlet .it worked but there was a full bottle of water and garbage in the floor. The carpet was filthy. The tile floor had a prescription pill on it. There was a pen on the carpet. The refrigerator worked but the small freezer portion was a block of ice. I needed to go to the front desk for a box of……

“Clean room but bed was too firm for me. Breakfast was good and the littles loved the pool.”

“The lady at the front desk tried to keep my deposit because some kids, not mine were smoking weed and driving fast through the parking lot. My kids are 7, 11, 14. None of them drive. Luckily I threatened the police and I got my deposit back”

“The room and staff were amazing. The area and people hanging out in the parking lot was a bit sketchy. Close to gas stations and restaurants.”
