This time we found this gated area called Wachesaw Plantation. Let me tell you, this area is pure beaty amongst the abundance of live oaks draped in Spanish moss. There are several cottages you can rent, and we think we got the best of the bunch. We will be staying in this area from now on. Tracy was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It is in a gated secure community that has streets lined with huge live oaks! Beds and linens were so comfortable! Immaculate with fresh linens! Next to tennis courts and just a few steps to the pool. The outside space was also very clean and the furniture was extra comfy. Property manager was super responsive. We were attending the Junior US open Sporting Clays tournament in Georgetown and after a long day at the range, coming back to the house was such a treat! It’s conveniently located to all we wanted to experience while visiting with our relatives who live nearby. Easy trip to Charleston, nearby beach access at a beautiful maintained state park, Brookgreen Gardens, and plenty of wonderful restaurants. The home had everything we needed. We have used VRBO for years and have stayed in many homes in variously locations across the country and will have to say this home tops them all! Stunning house that had every utensil/dish I needed to cook in the kitchen! Beds were snug as a bug in a rug! We enjoyed the rainy days on the screened-in porch listening to the rain, or watching movies inside, as much as the days out kayaking on the ocean or poolside-only a stone's throw away. Great shopping at the Market Common. Very comfortable, lazy vacation, that was easy to find things to do to enjoy your time.
