This property is located on a road near the swash. When high tide comes in, the road in and out of the property floods. This happens daily. You either have to stay in your unit until the tide goes back out at the end of the day or you have to drive through a partially part of a flooded road (which is NOT safe) and then find this random cut through only the locals know about to escape. This was never disclosed to me and was a known issue as this is a daily occurence that the locals know about. I would not have picked this property had I known I would have to face a major safety issue. Also, property wasn't as clean as I have come to expect from VRBO. Hair in corners of the bedroom and the linens are very old and dated with some stains.

Family Vacation

Overall this property was great for our family of 3. The twin bed actually had a trundle bed with it so you could possibly sleep 4 at this property. Having the two bathrooms was amazing when coming in from the beach. You’re technically one row back from the beach with this condo but you walk through the parking garage of the adjoining complex and you’re beach side. It was a shorter walk than I’ve had when I’ve stay at properties that are beach front. There’s a little estuary close to your beach access. Our 3 year old absolutely loved it. There were a ton of hermit crabs in there and he had fun. This is also walking distance to Flip Flops and Ocean Annie’s and only 25 minutes from downtown Myrtle. There’s a Kroger within 1 mile and Walmart within 3. It’s at the end of the road though so it doesn’t feel too busy. The only drawbacks for us were:It seemed like the cleaning crew forgot to sweep. We found a ton of black hairs all over the condo. The main bedroom has an outside hallway light that shines directly into the bedroom. The blinds do not block this at all. Curtains would be a major improvement in this room. You’re right next to the elevators and pizza/ice cream shop. We never had any issue with noise but just know you’re right next to it.

Beach Conference

We stayed here while I was in town for a work conference. The location is pretty ideal in the Myrtle area. Very safe, close to plenty of amenities. Condo itself was fine. Cleaning crew needs some more attention to detail (dust bunny behind bedroom door, old kitchen sponge left from prev renter, food crumbs left under burners on stove, dishwasher still full of clean dishes). The condo is directly across from the elevators so everyone is going up and down right across from the front door/bedroom. The hallways near that elevator have bright fluorescent lights that stay on 24/7. The bedroom window faces this hallway so the bedroom is very bright at night even with the blinds closed. Highly recommend the property owner/manager install blackout curtains.

Beach getaway

The condo was clean, roomy and comfortable. We loved having an ice cream and pizza place on the property. It was great being able to walk to an oceanfront restaurant and bar with music. We were disappointed with the indoor pool and pool area cleanliness. The resort could use some updates but the location was amazing.

Nice and Quiet

This is a small but comfortable stay. We didn’t have any issues at all. It was early in the season so the crowds were lower than usual. Condo was clean and perfect for just 3 of us for a short weekend getaway. Convenient to the pier, restaurants and shopping. The master bath does have a weird hole in the bathroom ceiling that needs fixing. But other than that,it was very clean. We would stay again.

Nice, Quiet Place

We enjoyed our stay in this unit very much!Cleanliness was A. I don't cook on vacation but the kitchen appeared well equipped and we had plenty of towels. Unit isn't as small as it looks in the pictures, IMO. Only issue - Fix the bedroom TV! (Maint couldn't resolve)

Nice condo! Needs a blackout window treatment in the main bedroom. Main bedroom closet needs to be cleared for visitors use. Patio window treatment needs replacing. Need mor shower curtain hooks in master bath

Great place to stay

Enjoy this location very much. Only issue was the keypad lock had been damaged as well as the manual key lock. Had issues with the lock when entering & exiting the condo, besides that everything was awesome!

Recent Visit

check in was a disaster. We were first happy to hear we could check in early, the code they sent was wrong. when I called they asked me to use the key in the lock box and when we opened the lock box there was no key inside. After an hour of standing in 100 degrees they send another code and it did not work. I finally sent a message asking how to operate the code door step by step since there were no instructions on Vacasa or VBRO. After another long wait we were told instructions and then got in. The master mattress was hard as a rock. We honestly have not been disappointed before.
