“Kambi Mstuni is a great resort with friendly staff and beautiful gardens. The restaurant serves great food too. Will highly recommended it if you’re traveling to the Laikipia/Aberdares area. Will only ask the management to do regular maintenance to the murram road that connects it with the main road on the Makutano side since it’s a little rough to drive there when it has rained due to many potholes on it. Otherwise not a bad place to rewind despite the distance from the main road. ”

“Situated within the National Park so make sure you check in on time. The Ark is a very cosy, wooden lodge. Fire lit in the lounge area which was welcome as it was very cold at night (early Oct) Staff provided hot water bottles for our beds which was a lovely touch The buzzer system at night is a novel experience and of course we responded by getting up in the night. Room was simple and clean Would benefit from new windows but otherwise lovely ”

“This is an excellent and reasonably priced place to visit, very peaceful and quiet. The landscape is serene which I could view from my own private deck with fresh coffee throughout the day. Paul the manager was extremely helpful in making arrangements for a game drive and a couple of great cultural experiences with the local tribe, along with nightly camp fire and music from a Kenyan Nyatiti I believe.
