The Study at Yale is a wonderful hotel. Convenient to the university, shopping and dining. The staff was very professional and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean.

Compare to other "graduate" hotel in Princeton, it is old. some facilities need to repair (performing but not on good condition). Overall speaking, the location is great, bed is comfortable, kettle is good.

Perfect location for a day at the Yale museums! Lovely stay, fantastic restaurant and super friendly staff. My only complaint is that my room had no curtains - just a shade…. That makes for a very early morning wake-up!

Great Location, Underwhelming Amenities

The location truly can’t be beat—right in the heart of Yale’s campus and walkable to all the cute shops and eateries New Haven has to offer. That part lived up to expectations. But for $300 a night, we were disappointed by the lack of basic modern conveniences. No smart TV meant no streaming options to wind down after a day of exploring, and surprisingly, there wasn’t even a mini-fridge in the room—so our dinner leftovers went straight to the trash. For a hotel marketed as refined and boutique, the amenities felt stuck in the past.

We truly had a terrific experience. We drove New Jersey with my granddaughter who is doing her sevond Master’s Degree in Scotland. She needed Research materials at the Yale Library. We arrived at The Study at 10 am instead of the 3 pm check in. The front desk clerks were exceptional and said our rooms were ready! The breakfast and dinner we had in the Study restaurant were delicious. The two king rooms were clean and large with a desk and a large leather chair and haddock. We were very pleased with the staff and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Stay

The Study is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Heirloom restaurant/bar is great and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.
