The actual unit was good but the extra amenities that really would have made the property extra special in addition to the general condition of the building was a real letdown. 1) the entrance has 4-5 steps once inside but the handicapped elevator was out of commission. It was a real pain hauling luggage and other things without that elevator. 2) I am not sure if it’s a full rental property or there is some residential units too but the place reeks of weed throughout the lobby and hallways. 3) the rooftop area compared to the listing pics are not even remotely close. The rooftop was an embarrassment vs expectations. The grill, the table, and the plastic ivy were all trashed. Speaking of trash, the rooftop bar was littered with dirty napkins, plates, cigarette and joint butts, and empty bottles left everywhere. I was going to plan a bbq and cocktails up there but that wouldn’t have been possible. The location in the warehouse district is great and being across the street from the convention center was perfect. A little TLC or custodial and maintenance staff expectations would go a very long way.
