One of four elevators were down the first day. The second day two of the four elevators were not working. We had to wait an hour to get to our room on the 18th floor. Our TV was also broken. We asked the front desk to send up someone to fix it, and they never did. The room was very clean, housekeeping was very nice, and the breakfast was typical free breakfast. Not having a TV and the broken elevators was pretty unpleasant and the staff did not handle the situations well.

Great breakfast included. Beautiful city views, bright clean rooms. Elevators were a problem. Sometimes 2 of the 4 were down. Multiple times I had to wait 20 minutes for an elevator, budget your time accordingly. Happy clientele, many international families enjoying the city. Location is near several subways and Madison Park, groceries are close by.

The hotel rooms are very clean and a good size considering it is in Manhattan. I would stay there again. The only problem was that two of the 4 elevators did not work for part of our stay causing a lot of waiting time (thus the 4 stars for facility condition, otherwise it would have been 5 stars). Breakfast was plentiful and had variety. I would recommend this hotel.

Most of the stay, 2 of 4 elevators did not work, meaning you either had to wait 20 minutes for a working elevator or take the stairs. My room was located on the 30th floor so it was a lot of stairs to access my room. I was fine with the stairs but my 75 year old mother was not. In addition to lack of working elevators, the hotel was overcrowded. Breakfast each morning was a nightmare and all of the common areas were bursting at the seems with people. I would not return to this hotel or recommend it to others.

Clean and well located hotel with great view. Our air conditioning was not working properly and we complained from the first night, at least twice a day (we stayed 3 nights) and it never got fixed and they never moved us. Elevator is a huge problem, you can stay up to 20-30 minutes waiting to go up, causing people to argue over space besides the fact that there are always more people inside than it really should be. Breakfast was decent. Would not stay again!

Only 2/4 elevators worked for our entire stay. It was very difficult getting to and from our room and would have to walk up to the 17 floor which wasn’t ideal. The staff were nice and apologetic but it dampened our stay for sure. The AC unit our room was also so loud and would rattle constantly. This would wake us up out of a dead sleep. If the elevators worked properly the stay would have been more enjoyable !

There were too many lines all the time and some of their elevators were not working, and we had to walk up and down till 15th floor after waiting for long and not getting an elevator.

The hotel is in a good location, close to metro and we enjoyed walks to Times Square and all the sights. The room was small, as expected but had a sofa bed for my teen. The breakfast was good: mix of cooked and fruit, yoghurts and pastries. They were having serious issues with the lifts though and hopefully will work quickly to sort them as walking down with cases was not fun. The breakfast staff did a great job at clearing and cleaning tables to keep the flow moving as it was a small area to get lots of people through.

The Hyatt was in a great location, close to the subway with lots of shopping and restaurants near by. The hotel was clean and the room were nice. We were on the 32nd floor and had an incredible view of the empire state building! The one negative is the elevators, there are 4 one was out of service, it could be anywhere from five to thirty minutes to get an elevator depending on the time of day.

This is a really nice hotel with just a few minor flaws. It’s sorta upscale but keep in mind there are 45 floors so it’s a busy hotel. Rooms are modern-on the smaller side. Very nice breakfast and they have a nice bar on the second floor. Staff friendly. Negative -like most of the reviews the elevator’s are a real pain and you do wait a really long time to be able to get an available elevator. Our water was also turned off while we were there. We got a really great rate- we would stay here again depending on the rate. A lot of trains nearby and you are able to walk to a lot of destinations.

It was good that is was near a lot of sightseeing spots. The subway station was a few minutes away. The breakfast was not so good. A few more tables were missing. The air conditioner was very loud.

The elevators in at this property are unacceptable. They do not operate at the level they should for such a large hotel. It took us 30 plus minutes to get to the lobby from the top floor. (Waited 20 plus minutes just for it to arrive). Also, we had a number of requests throughout our stay (turn down, toilet fixed) that were not resolved until we contacted the front desk multiple times.
