Customer service at check-in was poor. Very brusque and rude. Customer service at check-out was better. Room was very worn down. Peeling wallpaper, worn carpet, rough sheets. The phone didn’t work and the television remote only had two buttons that worked. The last night we stayed there the toilet clogged around 11:00 pm. We called the front desk for help and they said they couldn’t do anything because housekeeping was gone. We asked if we could switch rooms and they didn’t seem to understand what we were asking. Thankfully, we were able to get the toilet unclogged ourselves. I plan on returning to NYC in the spring and I will not be returning to NYMA. DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT STAY HERE.
