The MC - I almost regret writing this review. The hotel itself was quite nice. Unfortunately, the people in the room next to my family last night had a raging party. We called down to the front desk to request the noise issue be addressed. Waited approximately 45 minutes and called again. Our second request was more demanding and Matthew did indeed follow up. We heard him knock on our neighbors door for quite a while - the noise coming from inside their room made it near impossible to hear that anyone was at the door. Our neighbors carried on until nearly 2 AM. No one at the hotel followed up with us. We will never stay at this location again. Disappointing. The hotel has much potential.

The staff is very rude and careless. The valet guys would let you stand outside in 30° F temp for at least 15 minutes before they even come out to get your car. The hotel itself is nice and the area is very nice with everything within reach and very safe, however the staff is very disappointing

The main floor of the hotel was interesting from a design perspective, however, there were a number of issues that we experienced. 1) The tiny hotel check-in desk was hidden in a dark back corner of the lobby area, not very visible, not very functional as two hotel employees were shoulder to shoulder at the 2 computer stations. The people at the front desk were very nice, very polite and cordial however the noise was so loud in the lobby we could barely hear them 2) the lobby was very noisy due to live music, hotel employees and we had to shout in order to communicate 3) the hotel room design itself was just okay, but rather small. The bathroom only had one hook to hang one bath towel, the lighted make-up mirror light did not work, the wall covering seams in the room were peeling off the walls, the closet doors were very difficult to slide and the closet door hardware had sharp corners that you could easily cut your hands. Also the light fixtures at the desk were not great, just a bare light bulb right at eye level 4) There is construction going on right next door which started bright and early at 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning- you could hear the loud banging of construction work 5) Other noise issues, we experienced were the loud sounds of water rushing through the pipes, we never had that issue when staying at a hotel before 6) We had breakfast in the lobby restaurant, two tables we almost sat at were not clean, the tables had had food particles and crumbs on them.
