Our stay at the Whaler was cozy and quiet. The view of the beach was magnificent and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The spa and fitness area was clean and well maintained.

Beautiful location. There is a road between the room and the ocean. Sometimes it can be loud. Also construction was happening at the time. Room was clean and comfortable. You can hear the rolling cleaning carts rumble back and forth. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very walkable location.

This was a very nice place to stay! Very well remodeled. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Ocean view even from our lower level room and easy access to the beach. The sandwich cart outside was really good too for breakfast. We will definitely come back and stay at The Whaler again!

There's so much to like about this hotel. The location is wonderful, a short 5 min walk from the restaurants and shops of Nye Beach and an even shorter walk to the beach itself. Despite being on the first floor, our room had a great ocean view. It was very clean and felt spacious. The bed was so comfy! We also appreciated the indoor pool with hot tub, free parking and the basket of complimentary goodies (plus an unexpected parting gift of more bottles of water and salt water taffy). There is construction going on at one end of the property but we were at the other end and didn't hear it at all. The hotel doesn't have AC but, with its location right next to the ocean, the sea breezes kept it cool. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Had a great stay at the Whaler. We stayed in vacation house 134. It was amazing! With the most beautiful views of the ocean! The amenities of the place was awesome too with the pool, hot tub, sauna, and gym!

Loved the updates on the hotel, my room was nice and clean. Had the new feel in it. Bed was super comfy. Beautiful views out the balcony. We received complimentary water and snacks which was a bonus. We will definitely visit again.

We had everything what we may need and a surprise was a bag for everything for our dog. Room was clean and remodeled, close to the Agate beach, is not to far a restaurant where we got great dinner. One reason why I put the 4 stars because we got a pet allowed room and this room was across the housekeeping room and our dog hear the noise until midnight and since 6 am and barked each time while it was notice of the housekeeping cart. I hope that will change for next guest with a dog and the room for the guests with the dog will be somewhere in the end of the building.

All rooms with ocean views and modern conveniences. Recent construction with pool/hot tub/sauna. No restaurant (but they have a food truck suitable for breakfasts). Front desk staff pleasant but the communication and management with house-keeping was confused (our room was never entered without us asking each day; never understood why).

I loved the set up of the room, beds, view of the ocean and the option to bring my dog. I loved the complimentary snacks and dog goodies. The shower and sheets coukd have been cleaner. There was hair in both.
