“Winyah Bay Club is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Our unit was very nice, clean and the beds are comfortable.”

“I have done vacation rentals in Pawleys Plantation many times and the location is wonderful. It is a beautiful gated community. This was the first time that I had to drive to pick up keys to a rental unit. It was 7 miles one way north of Pawleys plantation which was a 14 mile trip added to our already 6 hr. drive which was an inconvenience. This is a spacious one bedroom unit on the first floor with a screened in porch overlooking the golf course. It is furnished very nicely and the two queen……

“Bugs were terrible. The sink and kitchen counter crawled with tiny bugs. I called the front desk and although I was told they would send an exterminator, no one came. There were 3 dead roaches on the floor when we arrived and we were greeted both mornings with a new one in the middle of the floor. I was worried we would transport them home so I had to be especially vigilant in guarding against the critters taking home in our luggage and bags.”

“The WiFi never worked. We called, did our own rebooting, waited, texted and in the end gave up. There had been some painting done and there were remnants of paint scraping in various locations (by the way the paint job was terrible- host ought to make them go back and re-do it!) Decor and furniture were dated but comfortable. Beds were hard and very uncomfortable. (Honestly the biggest disappointment). We really liked the community and location was fantastic. Great golf course views. Very……

“This was my second stay at this unit. The first stay was amazing. This one not so much. I do not recommend and I will not stay there again. The unit was inadequately supplied and assistance during the stay was insufficient.”

“Very beautiful. Clean, spacious, and comfortable ”

“Our stay was excellent. The decor was beautiful and the kitchen well-appointed. The theme is Pawleys Island throughout which made the stay more special. The management was attentive to any issues we brought up.”

“This is an excellent place to stay!!! My family and I rented this place for about a week and we loved it. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very peaceful. My wife and I loved to walk to the marsh every morning to see the sunrise. My kids loved the spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. We also loved having access to the pool. There are also two grocery stores close by which was convenient. Our hosts were amazing and we had great communication with them. We would definitely stay……

“We had a wonderful visit. The condo was very clean, and all of the little details were thought of. The host was so kind, and was very easy to communicate with. And the setting was spectacular with many things to do nearby!!”

“A pool within walking distance of the unit was advertised. This was incorrect and it took 3 of the 5 days for someone to figure out that the pool access was revoked by the HOA.”
