“We recently stayed at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham in Ocean City. It's a classic 1950s-era structure that has undergone updates, though older AC units and retro features remain. Pros: The View: We lucked out with a 3rd-floor room directly overlooking the beach—the ocean views were gorgeous. Kitchenette: Equipped with a larger dorm-style fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker with supplies, plus plates, cups, bowls, and utensils. Onsite Dining: The restaurant was an underutilized gem……

“Room was clean and property was just one block from the beach. The parking lot was a little tight on arrival on a Friday night but it seemed fine the rest of the weekend. Would be better if the curtains blocked out more of the morning sun but otherwise great stay.”

“The location on the beach and balcony were great. We did have an issue with cleanliness that we needed staff to correct, however both staff and manager were helpful and considerate in correcting the problem.”

“The stay in this hotel was wonderful. The beach view was great. The fact that it was really close to the beach was excellent. We had no problems with the room or the staff. The only thing that was lacking a little was the breakfast, but that usually always happens with buffets . the best thing to stay with if you’re going to stay, there are the waffles, yogurt, and berries. The coffee was really bad, but there is a Starbucks a block away.”
