“Traveling with 2 small dogs for 3 straight days, the oasis of Crisfield is here. Quiet yet convenient. The listing is spot on and all necessities for a longer term stay were provided. Bonuses included the supply of coffee pods, tea bags, and breakfast bars. Plenty of linens, and so much more! Thank you for providing an appointed home to call ours for a week.p.s. Biggest find was Waters Edge cafe. Avoided the ice cream counter, which was easy after a filling dinner of the best crab cakes……

“We give a 10/10 for our week-long stay at this exquisite condo from its beautiful coastal colors and tasteful furnishings to the million dollar views of Tangier Sound and Jane's Island. Excellent communication from the hosts. Seamless check-in. Well-provisioned kitchen if you wanted to cook. “The bay is directly in the backyard where you can see the sun set each evening from the house. There is a small beach that is sandy during low tide. If you want to wade in the bay, wear water shoes because there is glass that washes in from the bay. Mosquitoes are a problem, but it isn't just here. That's just the Eastern Shore in summer. “My sister and I have always wanted to visit Smith Island. This house was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable, great location and terrific host. The golf cart was such a huge bonus. “Took my grandson for a weekend trip to Smith Island to celebrate his HS graduation. My daughter, also, accompanied us, since I am a 90 year old "Grammy", and need some assistance. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and had all of our needs. The host, Kim, was extremely attentive, and made our dinner the night we arrived so we could just relax. I would highly recommend Idle Hour as the place to stay on Smith Island.

“This was a perfect place to stay, a bit far from our daily destination of Assateague but worth the drive for a place to unload and I unwind and relax without worrying about disturbing anyone, and with enough space for the whole family. We took advantage of the dock for crabbing and watching the sunset. Easy to get to, well stocked, easy to use and take care of, we would definitely stay here again.”

The house is beyond well equipped with anything you could want for your stay, it truly felt like a vacation with the level of amenity and to-do on site.
