Great location but should have picked a different house.
The location of the home was great, and very convenient, to beaches, restaurants etc. The house itself was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. The floors were not cleaned properly and there was sand or grit throughout the living area. Towels and linens seemed clean but not fresh, as if they’d been sitting in a closet for weeks. There is mildew in the corners of the showers.
The house overall is dated, furniture worn, dreadful mattresses and cabinets in disrepair. There are large water stains on some of the ceilings, cupboard doors with loose hinges, and a living room rug attached to the floor with packing tape. Outside table and chairs have rusted bases which can’t be used, because they come apart.
The house has the potential of being a great place to stay, but needs to be furnished and brought inline with what is being charged per night.
The cleaners arrived before 9am, placed linen bags infront of the door, on the porch. A few minutes before 10am they entered the house without notice or permission, and demanded we leave immediately.
