Thankful Escape is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo located in "Jewel of Jamaica", Ocho Rios. It's the perfect spot for your vacation: a 5-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, nightlife and a cinema. Thankful Escape is a comfortable, 1400 sq. ft. space for families and groups of friends, surrounded by gardens and views of Ocho Rios Bay. The condo sleeps four, with a king bed in the Master bedroom, and 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. This is our home, so we do not provide hotel-like services. Once booked, guests acknowledge that they have read the listing and rules and are in agreement.

Our villa is open-concept, with a dining & living room that leads to a breathtaking ocean-view gazebo and air conditioning in every room. The Master Bedroom includes an ensuite full bathroom, its own gazebo balcony with a relaxing view of Ocho Rios Bay, sitting area with HD cable/streaming TV, and full walk-in closet. The full kitchen has everything you need: refrigerator, stove, toaster, microwave, cooking utensils, and dishes. The second bedroom has an ocean view, 2 twin beds, and a full bathroom just outside the bedroom door. The living room has a sofa, love seat, flat-screen smart TV, and private, high-speed WiFi.

IMPORTANT PROPERTY NOTES! PLEASE READ!!
- STAIRS AND HILLS - Accessing Thankful Escape does require walking up and down multiple steps, with no elevator available. Columbus Heights and SkyCastles is on a hillside with beautiful views of Ocho Rios. This hill can be traversed by walking or taxis, which are safe, affordable, and available.
- NO EARLY CHECK-IN - Thankful Escape is a privately owned villa with no staff on premises. Our House Manager will check you in between 4 pm - 6pm, or you can self-check-in after that. We cannot accept baggage prior to check-in.
- AMENITIES - we provide a small starter pack of amenities (soap, toilet paper, etc). For stays longer than a few days, guests must purchase any additional items for their stay at nearby grocery stores.
- HOUSEKEEPING - Housekeeping is not provided during your stay. Additional housekeeping can be arranged for $80 USD. Guests can wash towels and sheets at the laundry facilities below the pool.
- LOUD MUSIC - sometimes music from clubs down the hill in Ocho Rios can be heard from our complex, and white noise might be necessary to block it out, depending on events and guest sensitivity.

Want some beach time? You can choose your own beach experience. Just down the hill is the beach next to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, a fun restaurant & bar with a pool, water-slide, games, and a water trampoline.
A longer walk or short taxi-ride away is the Ocho Rios Bay Beach, which is calm, clear and shallow you will be impressed with the cruise ships that dock at the marina, a sight to behold! This beach is where you can book any water activity you could want, like jet skiing, catamaran snorkel tours, party boat trips and more.
