The Holiday Inn Express on Farnam is a well-designed property. The pool area, exercise room and breakfast area are very nice. Our only issue was that there was no housekeeping service. We were advised that there was no regular housekeeping service unless your stay exceeded 5 nights. We were advised to contact the desk if we needed extra towels, etc. for our guest room. Upon check in we called for an extra pillow, which was promptly delivered. after a couple of days in our room, our one trash receptacle was overflowing, and we ran out of Kleenex. We had to ask the desk person on three consecutive days to get these items addressed. (Sat., Sun and Mon.) On each occasion we saw the desk person write down our request.
'i understand why housekeeping service was cut back during Covid. My wife and I were disappointed that Holiday Inn 'Express has not restored daily housekeeping service. Even if many other hotels are also neglecting housekeeping service, it is not right.
