Cabin getaway
It was a nice place. I didn’t realize though that the bed in the bedroom was a double bed with a twin above it. The head room was low and it was hard getting in and out. I hit my head hard one time, forgetting in the night that it was so low.

Yurt weekend
It was amazing. Staff was wonderful and friendly. It was relaxing.
We were able to be inside two different cabins. The first one had a closet and towel racks and no electricity.
The second one was workable. Had no closets or towel racks. The second bedroom was extremely cramped with a bunk bed. Twin size mattress. Great for kids not seniors.
The cabins were wonderfully supplied. Kitchen supplies were excellent. Brand new BBQ with a torn cover on the ground.
There was no voice mail to the office. It just rang and rang.
The pool and jacuzzi we're reasonably clean.
Overall, a pleasant place to stay.

The cabin was clean and cozy. The ranger at the office was pleasant and very helpful. The pool and hot tub looked clean and inviting but it rained the entire time we were there. Very pet friendly. We will stay here again and hopefully get to hang out at the pool.

Great stay!
The yurt was really cute and well stocked with linens and kitchen stuff. The beds were not super comfortable so I recommend bringing an extra sleeping pad for each bed, especially the sleeper sofa. Our picnic table was behind the yurt and it wasn’t easy to get to so we didn’t use it. Everything else was great, the pool and hot tubs were nice and the ball courts were great for my teens.

Quiet and convenient
Quiet and located in a great area at a good price. The yurt is showing some wear and some pet damage. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

There was a bat in our yurt! My husband had to catch them I had a hard time sleeping after that. The ceiling fan had so much lint and dirt on it that you were scared to turn it on. You could reach through the material and open the door from the inside. The camp host didn’t seem to know what she was doing? Made me want to go home!

Fun Yurt
We reserved a yurt but the one we were assigned did not have a bathroom or kitchen. We talked to the staff and had it changed. The staff was very nice and friendly. The yurt was clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect get away!
The site was gorgeous, a bit small for hanging out outside but the cabin was cozy and had everything and more than we were expecting. The sinks clogged when we tried to do the dishes but the ranger station was very helpful to try and solve our situation 😊
First visit at south jetty rv and camping resort,The staff at check in was great and very friendly and the cabin we stayed in very cute and clean i would be a repeat customer
Always love staying here--great cottages, great walking and relaxing, quiet surroundings. In summer we have the option of the pool and tennis courts (it was too rainy this time so we enjoyed the warm and toasty heater in the cottage and loved the break).

We had just bought a trailer for our dirt bikes. I called the park directly ahead of time to be sure that there was overflow parking at the park. I was told yes as indicated on the site map.No fee was mentioned.
We checked in and again was told where to park our 14 foot trailer. We were surprised that the parking lot was only secure with a flimsy plastic chain. We went ahead and parked our trailer . We made many trips inside and out of the park . On the fifth day, a maintenance person approached us and said that we could not park in that lot. He was very rude and abrupt. He said that we had to leave now and he was going to tell the park ranger. His exact words were" your leaving here and not coming back, I'll make sure of that"
We went to the ranger office and asked nicely for a park pass to park in the overflow lot. The lady at the desk said that where we were parked was not an overflow lot. It is a "secured " lot for paying members. She went on to say that the girl we had spoke to was new and did not know the rules. That was not our problem. In fact, we spoke to the maintenance man several times at the lot. He seen us coming and going and did not say one word about needing a "pass" to park there.
We felt threatened by his actions and the unprofessional of the staff in general.
We were asked to park near the pool area, which was not very secure for a huge enclosed trailer.
We stayed in a Yurt at South Jetty near the Oregon Sand dunes just outside of Florence. Great location, yurt was big and clean. Beds could be more comfortable, but it was way better than a tent and the kid loved it!
Arrived a little earlier than check in time and the staff were able to get us in and situated which was appreciated.
If you don't want to camp but you do want to get away from it all, this is the place for you. The cabin is gorgeous, with all the amenities of home. We didn't use the TV but it was there if we wanted it. We ate all our meals outside at the table on the porch, mostly cooking with the gas BBQ outside. It is a great spot and simply walking around the campground was enough to get us out of our city heads. We didn't use the pool but we did go down to the community centre--there is table tennis and pool tables. And board games. This place is fabulous--we'll be back!
My husband and sons stayed here for a fishing trip and said it was great but the beds were not meant for anyone over average height. They are all over 6 feet tall.
Great place to stay. We rented a yurt. It was clean and big. Includes a kitchen and bathroom. Only problem nobody told me we had to bring towels and bedding. So we had to use sweatshirts as blankets on plastic mattresses. Were told later we could have rented sheets and blankets but never told at check in. By the time we figured out the bedding situation it was too late at night! We were staying in hotels down the whole coast and decided to do a yurt one night, not planning a head for a camping trip. The grounds have a pool and nice kept areas. We did the sand dune trail tours. They drive 70 plus miles a hour up and down the sand dunes. Then we went behind rv park and drove go carts. Very nice location. Would go back here and visit again. Only downfall is the yurt cost more than some of our hotels on the ocean front.
