Exceptionally firendly and helpful staff. I was in food service for many years, so the faint odor of bleach when I first opened the bathroom door was a welcome sign of cleanliness. The only problem is an occasional loud noise like a contactor closing. No reason to stay anywhere else in Palestine, Texas!

Bare bones room, don’t come expecting luxury. It was clean and served its purpose tho. A lamp would have been nice and very little electrical outlets. So prepare to not have one in your restroom. But overall happy with the value of the stay

I did not have high expectations, The room served its purpose. There were a few things to note. In our room there were only two accessible outlets, period, beside each night stand. Outlet one only worked if the light was on that was connected to the outlet. That doesn't work for charging over night. There were no outlets in the restroom. There was no trashcan in the restroom. Its awkward when you have to walk your bathroom trash into the bedroom. the spray that they use when cleaning smells like a really strong man cologne. It had me coughing literally all night. I'm very sensitive to scents. a neutral deodorizer would have been appreciated. Last thing was the microwave was not plugged in and we could not move the cabinet to get the plug. I guess it was just there for vanity reasons. Aside from that, it was fine. Not amazing, not horrible, just what we needed which was a clean bed. Staff was very friendly.

Very uncomfortable stay

Very uncomfortable stay. Only one thin sheet to cover myself when sleeping. Killed one cockroach in the bathroom. Motel is tight with the soap and shampoo. By design, very little comes out of the dispensers when you pump. Too much work! Thin towels. Low water pressure in the shower. No breakfast, No coffee maker in room either.

Just wanted ONE extra towel. When I asked the custodian (who had stacks of towels) for one he looked at me asked how long I’m staying for, which room I’m in, and if I’m leaving today. Since I was leaving (stayed the night of 1/25 left morning of 1/26) in the morning he said no just for that. Which I thought was rude especially the way he spoke to me. Rooms were clean but beds were creaky.

Never have stayed at a place with basically no amenities. Stripped down room. Only frig,microwave, toilet paper and tv. Not even kleenex. Basically was a man camp, just not a portable one. No room for anything in bathroom, tiny sink area. no plug in bathroom. Only 2 plugs by the bed. The pillows were terrible, only 3 for a king with 2 people and super flat.

Three things I did not like: 1. Have to run water in shower for 10 minutes before it warms up. This is not an exaggeration. 2. Nowhere to hang clothes. 3. Plenty of space in the room but no padded armchair in which to sit.
