"A Mighty Big Thank You to Andy and Laurie who made our stay that much more enjoyable! Your front desk matters and it was our understanding Andy was doing triple duty of sorts to give some of the staff time away. That noted, service did not suffer and our stay was Awesome! Rooms were pleasant, building kept up well, breakfast was great, across the street Walmart a plus. A note of gratitude to all who made it possible."

"Beautiful drive to the hotel. Stunning, old homes, history. The room is charming, clean with a gorgeous view of the lake and porch. It’s October and the weather is perfect. "

"The place is amazing. The staff was very helpful. They even check on you early evening at your room to see if you need anything!"

"This is one of those homes and settings that you DON’T leave to go to wineries and restaurants. If you do you’ll be less relaxed and wondering why the hell you left a perfect porch overlooking the lake. Also make sure you make time to watch the sunsets. We saw a perfect 10/10 sunset 3/3 nights. We do know how lucky we were with the unusual weather. The kitchen is well stocked so cook there and enjoy the house. As soon as you wonder if you’ll see a bald eagle one or two will fly over your head."
