“I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience was extremely disappointing. The apartment looks much better in the photos than it does in reality. While I liked the neighborhood and surrounding streets, the entrance to the building is a long, dark hallway that feels neglected and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the digital entry system. After returning from dinner one evening, the digital key stopped working, leaving my family locked outside the building for almost two hours……

“Would be even better with a plug for kitchen sink…waste of water to do dishes with water running. Dish towels not available. Extra hand towels needed for a family of three. Everything else great!”

“There is no air conditioning at all, and only one small fan. I contacted customer service, and they told me to sleep with the windows open. However, if I open the windows, it’s very noisy at night, and if I close them, it feels like a sauna, so it’s very hot and difficult to sleep.”

“What a Fantastic location and a very well equipped place to stay. It was so quiet, top floor helps..but you pay for that. 200 year old building with a few quirks, and lots of stairs that look scarier than they are. The host was responsive and an absolute pleasure to work with. Easy to get to anywhere in Paris in about 15 minutes. A very comfortable sleep in an excellent location with the best host. Would not hesitate to come back. !!”

“I had a very disappointing and unsettling experience staying at Bridge St Saint Germain. The listing photos did not accurately reflect the reality of the property at all. The apartment was run down, with sparse and in some cases broken furniture, making it feel neglected and poorly maintained. Several basic amenities were not functioning—most notably, the bathroom sink was clogged, light fixtures didn’t work, and the internet was completely down. These are essentials, not luxuries, especially……
