It’s quiet. The room is cozy and pleasant, with a nice bed. The building itself appears to be quite old, of stone. There’s an ancient-appearing thick wooden beam exposed in the entryway; a very cool feature, as most of the rest of the room has been modernized, with bits of the old structure allowed to be visible. (My architect wife calls these features “reveals.”) The host is very responsive, and at least writes in excellent English (we never actually spoke). The wifi worked well.If you’re at all tall, you need to be very careful in the curved entryway, as there is a low ceiling with a sharp edge about a step inside the door, as I discovered painfully when I first stepped into the apartment, and kept rediscovering, somewhat less painfully, almost every other time I came in.
