“During a 12-day rail trip around England, this was one of eight stops along the way. I prioritized locations within short walks from a train station throughout the trip, and this property fit that plan. The room is a converted 1-Car garage. Although small, it was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The host was VERY nice, agreed to store our luggage for the day while we visited nearby tourist attractions, and was very responsive to my messages both before and during out……

“The property is small and cozy as described, facilities are tidy and clean. We couldn’t receive the check-in instructions until we call at check-in time, the problem is solved quickly. A reminder that the toilet door is a reused old front door, that means when you lock it, you should lift the handle up first and then turn the button. “Roseleigh Cottage is a lovely little house. It is ideally situated in central Cookham a stones throw from the Thames tow path and close to a range of pubs and other places to eat. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay as did our dog who appreciated the many walks thereabouts.”
