Front desk/guest services were understaffed and no one ever answered the phone. They were, however, accommodating when we asked for an additional sleeper cot. Thanks! However, when I called to report a dirty pillow case that had pink lipstick on it, they weren’t too upset. They said they would “make a note” and let housekeeping know to change sheets the next day.

I loved the old building, the Henry Oliver. I loved the interior Suite with River View room. Very spacious. Was loud and crowded on my floor, for two evenings spent there with people partying in their room down the Hall. Also we were both quoted a certain fee for early check-in and a check out the hotel gave both of us, two separate bookings, an early check in rate that was double what they had told us originally. We called hotel to discuss and they would not honor any credit.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. It has always been excellent. They had an open bar with appetizers for happy hour and a great buffet breakfast. Not anymore!!!!! Now you get two drink coupons for happy hour and a lousy breakfast. For breakfast, you are given a choice of three small meals. If you have any dietary restrictions, you are screwed. I chose the western omelette...which should have been left out west...for the coyotes to eat. After you got this selection, you could get coffee, juice, etc. They had one guy working it, and were out of damn near everything. So, while you were waiting for your drinks and fruit, that they were out of, your already lousy breakfast got cold. I’m quite sure they will pull the Covid excuse, but it has been over a year. There are no excuses for such a lousy product and service. They have room to set up a buffet behind the servers. Just add a few more employees and they could have served everyone a good breakfast in a timely manner. Embassy Suites should be ashamed of how they are treating their customers. My advice is to stay somewhere that doesn’t offer the extras, but saves you $75. I’m sure that would pay for one hell of a breakfast.
